Also, appears to be incompatible with pedals without spanner flats on the axle. IE decent ones.

It'll never see production.

Yep Q factor issue is the deal breaker, needs a large company to come in and work with Limits to incorporate their system into a crank arm. If the tech can be made so much cheaper than a Stages or powertap it could be the first really affordable powermeter on the market but as a current concept I cannot see it working?..

I think this article puts some things into perspective as regards production forecast etc. etc.

So the general concensus is that the timeline given is way to tight and by the time they could be ready with the product other companies that have been in the game a lot lot long will have dropped prices to a much lower amount than we see today.. So the 250-300 quid powermeter is only 12 months away anyway regardless if limits is successful or not..

£180 for a PM that you won't have in your hands for at least another year, at which point current products known to work (sometimes) will be a lot cheaper anyway?

I do tip my bonnet to people that try and push these products to be fair, I wonder what would happen if a large company came in and purchased Limits to take them out of the market place. I guess all invested monies would be lost?

Hmm, i may be experiencing buyers remorse now.
Stumbled across this on the interwebb.. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/limits-the-world-s-smartest-cycling-power-meter
obviously i don't work for the company or anything, but i think its a cool product, so, if your into that thing, you can get it at a pretty good price right now, another 8 months for delivery though.
What do you think?
