I seem to recall someone bought a Toupe knockoff on here...how similar are the copies to the original Toupe shapewise? What about putting significant mileage into it? Not recommended?

Never owned a Toupe so can't compare. Comfy enough, but don't think I'd want to put mega miles in on it.

I have one of those as well. Bibs and pads fine.

Ha! I could but you need an internal frame (or drill) or you'd have to buy external cable kit .. its 6770 with older fimrware which means to 'upgrade' to 11 speed all you need to buy is 6870 rear mech

£500 for framest (seatpost, headset, seat collar) and Di2 gearset
No wheels, saddle, brakes, pedals, cranks, cassette and cranks
Deda RHM 44cm bars and either 3t 100mm stem or Kalloy 110mm or FSA 120mm for a little extra.

Spare der hanger and mechanical groupset bits included. I've built this up with battery attached to NDS chain stay with zip ties and sugru

All working good; just downsizing atm.

There's plenty of good kit makers doing custom stuff on alibaba/aliexpress without going to the guys that are happy knock off fake stuff. I've used Nimblewear for custom kit and the quality and customer service is excellent.
