Some updates, built some new wheels Mavic Open 4 CD tubular on tensile 'track' hubs, pretty bombproof rim, very light hubs, average spokes and then topped off with some 120g a piece Schwalbe Ultremo superlights for the track (Glasgow).
1" carbon road fork with carbon steerer would have been nice on a period road bike but never suited this
Finally found a suitable replacement, had to go back to threaded stem but TBH I think it looks better, and suits my needs better (need track drops, bull bars with aero extensions for pursuit and njs stem with carbon risers for the skids to all be very quick to change between).
Looks much better with these Kinesis Aero profile/blades on. Reduced the axle to crown and the trail a little, clearances look big as the tub's are ~20c. With 23c road wheels on they are filled up pretty nicely. -

In full slave mode. Ignore saddle height and angle, short arse guy I work with borrowed it and adjusted without putting back.
Stem won't slam any further, needs quill to be chopped.
So I got this off a forumunger about a year ago now and have ridden it in a few different guises.

Its badged 853, and the top & seat-tubes are defo 853 profiles, the chainstays could be anything but are seriously short, the seatstays are a rounded off box section. Frame isn't that light though as the aero section of seat tube has a round section of tube inserted down most of its length.
Measures 56TT // 49ST
Dropouts are quite short, back end is only designed to take a 19-21c tyre into the seat-tube tuck.and have never had a mech hanger on them, hence this frame was poss only ever for fixed TT or pursuit?
Fork is a dolan 1" TT alloy job, designed for 19-21c, has a 23c in it which has negative clearance under the crown, so has a tiny ball bearing glued into the dropouts to give that extra few mm of clearance required.
Built up with a random smattering of components to get it moving.

Started with some flat MTB bars cut right down and female ergo's (shorter), fugly mudguards and ancient red WTB pedals (much more positive than shimano type).

Some slightly better profile cranks, and cinelli crit's in winter training mode. Out on a run feels amazing, very comfy, feel like I could ride all day in the drops, however in town/ when theres traffic behind its just a bit much.

As it sits now. super comfy for around town, stiff and light'ish (about 7.5kg?) considering component choice.

Last owner had it built like this for use on track where it will be for the next few months.
