Maybe I'm being daft or summat. Can someone explain why a click bag or the PDW is better than a basket and any old bag chucked in it.
Is it pretty much just aesthetics or is it down to practicality or other reason(s).
Possibly the contents of the basket moving around as they are less well secured.
From my POV mounting a basket on a Giant TCR carbon fork using QR skewers is likely to be problematic. Mine is also small. Plus a bar bag has a clear top for maps etc.
As mentioned above, normal bicycle aren't designed for a heavy front weight that dramatically slow the steering down.
Those klick fix/swift or BigXTop mean you won't have to compromise.
