  • I said a few pages back I'd bung up a few pics of my kitchen so here they are..

  • Very nice.

  • Oh and this is what it was like before

  • Must've cost you at least 3k for all that.

  • These pictures are useless without the money shots of drawers fully of neatly arranged things and pullout gizmos like this:

  • My 2 favourite storage solutions in the kitchen:

  • Needs Gaggia Classic and Mazzer.

  • I'm skint now so the hario mini and the De'Longhi will have to do for now..

  • Few of the bathroom too..

  • The cupboard will be in a mess within a week.

  • I like the chandelier and imagine it makes the cat's arrival through the catflap more dramatic.

  • Sure, the cupboard is cool but the other one's just a cutlery drawer.

Need to do better on the gadget front. Otherwise... it's nice.

  • I like it! Good choice of cupboards - can't imagine getting more efficient use of the space without sacrificing, you know, space.

  • There are 2 of them and I think I made a mistake in not putting them on a dimmer as they are flipping bright when on. I'll have to see whether we get used to it..

  • Just drop the wattage (can go LED too). I'd personally go pearl for better diffusion.

  • Where are the bits of Walthamstow to avoid? Guessing the village is most desirable ?

  • Avoid the bit up near the North Circular by Billet Road. Industrial, very little transport and a long walk to anything which would make Walthamstow worth living in.

The streets around Coppermill Lane are generally very nice and near to the Marshes as well, parts of Wood Street have a nice vibe, and the parts just near where Forest Road approaches Blackhorse Road station seem to be shooting up in value too.

No wonder you spend so much money on home improvement.

  • Ok. To start. As a sparkie [...]

@well_is_it Ignore this chancer. You will have to rewire because when you sell the same questions you asked will be asked again.

    A sparkie.

    Scaremongering.

Telling someone they need a rewire.

    Quel. Fucking. Surprise.

(FWIW I do agree that the electrics want looking at. I would, as I said, be contemplating lumping a rewire in with other work to minimise disruption. But your bald, unqualified statement that @well_is_it should "Avoid" is pure and simple bollocks.)

  • I don't do domestic wiring, I deal with industrial three phase but, unlike you, I know the regulations.

    Now do fuck off.

  • unlike you, I know the regulations.

    O RLY

    Now do fuck off.

    Charming.

  • Yes. Really.

  • Nice edit there btw
