also, rode to the pub yesterday, nice little 25 mile blast, fun bike.... Michelin dynamics are shit, don't let anyone tell you different. (here with a vittoria on front as dynamic bead kept popping out on the front)

Michelin Dynamics are the worst !.
I have three of those Ambrosio discs, they are nice, fixed thread on one side and free on the other side, even come with covers to screw on the unused side.
What tubulars are you planning on using ?, I am having trouble finding tubulars with 35mm valves.

I was planning on using a gator sprinter.... This is my first venture into tub installation am I going to be facing issues?

I think I had same vittoria pista something on mine.

Would be keen to try the schwalbe durano tubulars.

tub installation is easy-peasy:

1. put glue on rim, put glue on tire. let dry for some 12 hours.
   
2. put more glue on rim, install tire after about an hour.
   
3. pump up tire and do some miles so it gets embedded.
   
   

The ambrosio discs have quite a small access hole for the pump so it limits the choice in tires, you need one that has a relatively short valve, you'll also likely need some kind of 90degree adapter for your pump.
I'm just in the process of painting/covering my disc too so i'll share any suitable info.

couldnt find a picture of a track one but general idea...

The stem on this was originally matched to a pair of sparkly forks by @Tp88 on his KHS... It looks like through negotiations I may be able to reunite the pair! Will be perfect, to be honest I've always fancied them for the Corima but with the original forks cracking I now have the motivation. If I recall correctly they are super tight. Should be rad.
