Tried Nikon's 35mm f/1.8G today.
Does look and feel pretty cheap, considering it's £450.
All their recent lenses are plastic, still I like the proportions of the 50 and 85mm f/1.8G a lot more both regarding feel and look.
Have to say images look really good though, and it seems to focus a tad faster than the 50 and 85 f/1.8G.
Still not sure whether to go for this new lens, or just get a used 35mm f/2 AF... (anybody on here own / use both?)
Or wait and see if Nikon finally manages to do a nice semi-wideangle pancake?
