They do size up small - Velosport in Putney have them in stock if you'd prefer to try them on

Anyone know of any armwarmers that actually work on cyclist arms? I'm bored of Nora Batty elbows and skin showing around my sleeves.

I have castelli arm warmers and puny arms. The grippers are good and if pulled up high to start with, stay put.

You get what you pay for, I sent mine back and actually prefer the rapha pro team mitts

I found those gripp ones nice but the finish and quality isn't the best. I do still use them though (2 summers so far). I'd choose something different to them.

Ah brilliant! I hate padding in gloves. I find it makes hot spots of pressure. Using the above mentioned gripp short finger gloves at the mo so hopefully these will be spot on!

I can only speak for the FF ones but they work well on the track, feel solid and grippy enough. I would have liked a size up but Kinoko had sold out of the size up (xxl?)
Until I started buying proper gloves I had no idea I apparently have enormous hands...

I loved my short finger Grippps but they fell apart, now I'm using Rapha Pro Team mitts and they're great.

Sportful, Castelli are both long and thin as are (to a lesser degree) Santini.

I like their heritage 'Since 1948' kit.

The Prendas own brand ones are good too.

I wish I could get another batch of these Santini chamoise mitts, they feel so nice in between the webbing of one's fingers. i've got one more NOS pair left that i'll have to open this summer and then that's it.

OMG, I can smell the suffering through the screen.

Yea I love this, and almost bought it, but my OCD side doesn't like the fact that the bibs are black instead of blue like the jersey!

Was in the market for mitts, these look good. I may well invest.
Stupid question probably, but can you out them in washing machines? Dunno how it works with leather

I wouldn't put leather in a washing machine, it is tanned with certain properties that will be slushed away.
If the skin the gloves are made of is chamoise (like what you clean windows with) then they can take a hand wash but will be crispy when dry for a little while. -

Saw it on obligatory coolfixiehipster blog but really like this company's stuff.
How much longer must we live in the dark ages?
Bring back sexy old school colour schemes...

The Giro LX? I have the newer versions and yeah, they're lovely
They do feel super good quality, just beware of sizing. When I bought mine, Ribble were cheapest. Dunno if they still are.
