I'm going to grab a bigxtop rando bar bag for an bike tour down to Spain. I'll be using my road bike, which I think has 42cm bars from memory.
Anything I should be aware of or is there a better choice for the money?

Personally, those bar bag are much better for bicycle that isn't designed for touring in mind.
Those bag and mount are surprisingly light (klick-fix system et all tend to be very heavy), and the small size force you to take what's necessary.
