• Seriously tempted.

Assuming that I would primarily be interested in optimising my position on the bike for Ironman racing (I don't have the luxury of testing multiple equipment options), to what extent do you work on other bike-fit issues such as comfort, optimisation of power and the ability to run of the bike etc?

After some minor equipment changes I find myself pretty uncomfortable on my TT bike and so I'm planning a bike fit anyway, but should I look at aero-coach as a fancy bike fit with optimised aerodynamics, or should I look at it as an addition to a separate bike fit?

  • Personally I'd never consider a TT/Triathlon bike fit that didn't take into account aerodynamics. A decent bike fit (scherrit) is gonna be £150-200 anyway, might as well go with Xav and know you'll be faster.
