You can see it as the container or wrapper.

I've had this happen before, pretty much made no progress ringing the publication (not ryanair in my case) as they wouldn't let me through to anyone as I wasn't already a contractor with them!

Just send them an invoice in with a covering letter in a non arsey way, for mine going rate was around the £150-200 mark (big paper, medium story, front of section) I invoiced for £450 (not vat registered so dont bother with that) and about 8 weeks later a cheque turned up with no apology or anything. They do it on a daily basis, only occasionally do the owners find them out.

Erm , well that was a while ago. I called the magazine, got put through to the picture editor who was surprised and apologetic about it all and they paid up in a month. They couldn't have been nicer about it really so I guess from time to time it goes better than you might expect.

Some great shots ^ love the cranes, I shot a few frames on the 35mm camera last week of some construction site stuff, waiting for it back from the lab.

The force is strong in this page.

They're beautiful! Tried and failed to capture similar stuff when I was last lurking around in the woods.

Was in the London a couple of weeks ago, with a few hours to kill before the train home. Decided to go to Look Mum to watch Paris Roubaix, and visit the Barbican on the way...

More. Found it reaallly difficult to get satisfying shots :/

Nah, you did good. Its probably the most photographed place in London, apart from touristy places so it's hard finding something unique.

I just like all the parralaxes one notices when walking around there, things line up like those channel 4 sequences.

Tried Nikon's 35mm f/1.8G today.
Does look and feel pretty cheap, considering it's £450.
All their recent lenses are plastic, still I like the proportions of the 50 and 85mm f/1.8G a lot more both regarding feel and look.
Have to say images look really good though, and it seems to focus a tad faster than the 50 and 85 f/1.8G.
Still not sure whether to go for this new lens, or just get a used 35mm f/2 AF... (anybody on here own / use both?)

Or wait and see if Nikon finally manages to do a nice semi-wideangle pancake?

I know at least 3 sets of similar old ladies that cruise putney....very midwich cuckoos..
