I had this close pass, lost my temper a bit, and have reported to roadsafe but not heard anything, does anything ever happen? it was my first time reporting

Lucky you didn't get clipped. Personally, I'd take primary position in a narrow lane like that because some dickhead will always try and overtake even though there's clearly not enough room.
