They are rugged, but not the most relaxing or comfy to just cruise around in. Very spartan inside too. Drove one 600klm in a day and very much felt it.

Over here, the old school Nissan Safari's are driven by the Emirati's who want people to think that they're frontiersmen.
They do ludicrous things to the V8 lump and put balloon tyres on then drive up and down beach road revving them up to the limiter assuming that the noise will get the local girls moist...

This was my old one. Number 2 as number 1 got rolled going to brighton!!!! Bent and no broken glass and the fuzz got the longest breaker bar I have ever seen to reshape the arches so the wheels went round with out touching the bodywork. Still used it to complete the trip and till the mot...
