Ask @xavierdisley about that. It seems that lots of riders would be better off with considerably less Q than standard road cranks provide.

Regarding the Q. I do know People that purposely buy longer axle pedals. But then maybe thats more of a issue With the foot tracking, and a desire not to strike the crankset, then actually wanting high Q.
Regarding the axle thing. I Guess I didnt look into it. I replaced the axles in my last looks, and was thinking of doing the same With some Speedplays. I Guess they could argue that those With top end pedals would buy 'proper'powermeters anyway..........
Lots of riders need a bit extra q. Plus you can usually buy shorter axles. So its not a fatal flaw.
I already run short axles, and cleats pushed out. So not for me.
But how difficult would it be to offer replacement axles for the major pedal brands?
