Have you used the SAE30 running in oil? How did you find the effects on oil pressure?
The engine has a steady 75psi when cold, but when hot and idling it drops down to about 25, goes up to about 80+ on the move. uprated PRV and high flow pump.
Only time I have ever used SAE30 oil was a diesel oil in a citroen bx and beetle and only then as I got £40 for 40 quid.
PSi sounds fine, pressure is low on a hot idling engine. It is how the pressure is derived.
