Cinelli Bars & Stem (I may have some Witcomb branded bars if preffered)
Weinmann Levers & Calipers
Suntour VX rear derailleur
Simplex shifting lever
(note, this machine has only 5 gears, so only 1 lever and no front derailleur)

Is the saddle leather or suede?. If you end up splitting the bike I'd be interested.

Do 'The Rules' permit me to place a link to this thread on the Retrobike Forum?
Please advise.

There is a rule about this has to be the only place you're selling the bike. I think a link somewhere else is probably fine. It's like if you had the frame in a shopA and put an advert in shopB saying "hey, go to shopA for a patinatastic vintage frame", would that be double selling? I think not.
Health warning - it pains me to admit it, but sometimes my logic is flawed. The rest of the time it's perfect.

Saw this the other day, and I must say it's very very nice.
If I wasn't there for another frame I would have been sorely tempted!

Wow cool thanks, be sweet to have some Witcomb branded bars for my witcomb.
Lived in Deptford for 13 years so have a soft spot for them.
Would be interested to see some pics of the 61cm Witcomb as well please, couldn’t see any pics still visible on the listing.
Cheers dude

Hi,
I haven't had any joy locating the Witcomb bars, sorry.
The 61cm Witcomb is in my store, which I haven't been to lately.
I have attached a couple of images I took last time I had it out.
Strangely, someone else has contacted me about this bike. I'm happy for you to have first shout.
Regards,
John

@Jingle_Jangle this gate still knocking about?
For sale is this amazing Vintage Witcomb, full of quirky details.
61cm Seat Tube ctc
60cm Top Tube ctc
So proper man-sized bike.
Obvious, but charming patina, the bike is a joy to ride and is in full working order.
Witcomb's were, of course, Deptford's finest frame builder for years.
£250.00, collected from SE10.
Now £200.00
Here are the pics:
