Been back to the place today with the missus. Luckily she likes it.
At the moment, there's just cheap landlord carpet over floorboards which are more of an underfloor from what I can tell (gaps and all). They run sideways in the hallway so am I right in thinking we just stick proper floor boards on top of this?
The boiler isn't as old as I thought - its a Main combi 24 which is the same as the new one at my mates rented place. They dont have any issues with it so that's good.
Spotted an old TV aerial literally hanging off the roof in the back... That will have to go.
I took some pics of details and the electrics that I'll post later but they look fine.
