What is the difference between Shimano ptfe or polymer cables?

Latter look like rust.

TRP HY/RD caliper - pistons have advanced until the pads are locked on the disc.

Removed pads, pushed pistons into the caliber body with a large screwdriver.

Pistons popped back out at once.

I'm now at the end of my knowledge with regards to hydraulic brakes - what to do next?

What difference would that make? I undid the cable and took the caliper off the fork, there was nothing pulling on the arm.

@Dammit Mainly that if the piston isn't fully opened, it doesn't auto aligned, screwing in the bolt would be a way to find out if the piston is actually opened properly.

Honestly I'm not certain, I've build up one with polymer, and serviced one with normal cable, shifting seemed to work fine (the latter have fresh lubrication in the housing).

is it possible to change a passport application to fastrack once its been submitted? we've put in the baby's application and it will take 6 weeks! we go away in 3. Poor planning :(

I have always found the passport people to be very helpful if you explain to them what your problem is.

where can i buy lots of patches/patching kit? have multiple busted but serviceable tubes that i want to fix but not sure where is best deal for best quality

Nope, cloth is noticeably thicker, stiffer and less sticky than hocky tape... Would anyone notice if you used hockey tape on bars, almost certainly not.
I'd go for two layers though, at least.
