Any idea on the translation?

About 10-15% was, and it was fecking annoying trying to get around people. Lots of shouting was involved.

photo top (today): got a KOM with stitches! felt OK, a bit stiff but looking forward to la Fleche Wallonne

never very nice on the first couple of climbs when there's something like 15,000 participants, is it?

Was cheering for Matthews then switched to Kwiato. Top shelf!

I was impressed how deep Matthews went as he sat on Gilbert's wheel. Shame it screwed his sprint up though, but you live and learn.

Yhe start was fine as the staggered when people would go etc etc.
But the routes all converged in the last 20 miles, which is where all the climbs accumulate, and that was turd. Someone stacked it right in front of me on the really steep climb (can't remember its name but it maxes at about 22%) and i had to walk it as i couldn't get going again :(.
That last 20 odd miles really pissed me off as I just wanted to empty the tanks and give it everything.
Much prefered LBL last year, Amstel was still fun though.

Thanks. Seems obvious now I know what hechtingen means.
Struggling to find a full start list for Flèche Wallone but Steephill says Quintana and Froome are both riding which gives it an extra dimension I suppose.
GvA doing Tour of Yorkshire. Trying to get plenty of race days in in case he gets banned?

That was the height of my yelling at him, yes. Being a fat bastard I know the feeling of 'hanging on to a wheel for dear life' well.

best bet for first to publish start lists is always procyclingstats.com
Froome is riding La Fleche in a most internationally assembled team Sky

Can anyone summarise why Cannondale Garmin are having such a crappy season so far?
As someone who's only been watching pro cycling for about 3 years I have a soft spot for both and thought they had a very decent team in Garmin, less so in Cannondale who've obviously lost their main talent.
What's happened?

Dickhead question, please can someone point me in the direction of good scientific explanation for correct use of a crosswind? Preferably in relation to a breakaway (opposed to front of peloton) ... or should this be in the aerodynamic thread?

They lack a sprinter so are never going to bank easy wins in the smaller races. They also have a roster that is heavily weighted towards younger riders, so need one or two of those to step up this year. I'd expect Dan Martin to register 2 or 3 big wins through the course of the season, especially as he's out of contract at the end of the year.

Probably because of their strong anti-doping stance. #trollface

"The town [Mill Valley, CA] is well-known as the birthplace of Timothy Leary, the famous LSD enthusiast, and although my feelings towards drugs are negative, the fact is worthy of note."

Did you just ctl-f "drugs"?

How do you get it to ignore markup? ^
Is this still on the cycle paths?
