If you are not trolling
He isn't strictly trolling, but he is jumping to conclusions as you haven't told us why you're pulling the BB. If it has been in your indoor track iron for a decade and you just want to freshen up the grease, stick with the loose ball Sugino, it's faster than a cartridge BB and will last effectively forever on a track race bike with a modicum of maintenance. If you have fucked the bearings by commuting in all weathers for a month, definitely get a UN55 or a Campag cartridge BB.

No, I thought he was trolling because the Tange Seiki one I linked is the only drop-in replacement (AFAIK) for 75s, it's either that one or Sugino, everything else is not quite right or completely wrong.
As for the why, I will not open it up just yet, but I want to buy the tooling, as I plan to re-grease it before the next winter. Which is also probably an overkill as I generally only ride when it's nice weather (which is most of the time where I live) and avoid rain.
I thought about buying sealed cartridge Tange, but I think it's not needed, I will know more when I pull it out for the first time.

It can be any BB as long it's the correct length, doesn't even need to be ISO.

FWIW, I've been impressed by the Token cartridge BB in my RollerFort, I'd take it over the Campag Centaur just for the better tool interface, and it's half the price.

Hey guys, my previous iro track frame ran a 110mm bb with some converted road cranks.
Surely a fuji track frame with the same BB shell size will also need a 110mm bb to run the same cranks? -

Do Sidi make any of the mtb shoes with replaceable bottom parts in Mega fit?

We have dollar (some). -

I was wondering whether my hubs were 11 speed compatible. The rear is a novatec F172SB. Version 2.3 of this hub is not 11 speed compatible, but version 2.4 is.
I emailed novatec's european distributor to ask how to tell whether I have version 2.3 or 2.4. They replied with the attached picture. They said that if my hub has the spacer it is 11 speed compatible.
I attached a photo of my hub, which appears to have a spacer, for confirmation and they said
"Yes, it means you can use it with 11speed shim cassette body."
I am confused I thought that an 11 speed cassette body was longer that a 10 speed body, so I don't know how it will fit on given that I have a 10 speed on there currently and it isnt wobbly.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Thought dominators had made the switch to forever un-replaceable bottoms

I don't see how a spacer there would help with cassette fit.
-
• #67795
Maybe you're supposed to remove the spacer and fit a larger freehub body?

you're in east right? there's a drop in centre in stratford, on vicarage lane, open until 8pm every evening, they might do it. it's not the nicest experience going there, but it's free and open late enough to go after work. just be prepared to wait

It doesn't says anythin about it being in a mega fit.
I have a Bergaus one. Was about 160 squid and is good. Don't know the name of the actual coat but the bloke at the Berghaus shop said it was their most popular one.
