So I do this when i think a car / bike / ped / bus / lorry etc might not have seen me and i'm travelling at speed.
To go down the outside or middle of traffic bibbing your horn all the time would be ridiculous. A very quick blip of the throttle every 5 meters or so, when filtering in traffic, is less annoying and largely achieves the same goal; being noticed.
I'd like to point out that I have a twin tip exhaust but keep baffles in both tips, so it's nowhere near as loud as the guy in that video...

I'd go with revs being more aggressive / anti-social than the horn. So long as it was a bib-bib-bib on the horn rather than a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiib.
