  • you want to put loads of horse manure on that bottom bit and rotivate the whole thing, improve the quality of the soil, get some nutrients in there for the up coming growing season
    it will also help break up the clay, plus horse manure has usually got loads of worms in so good for your garden in many ways
    you must have some stables nearby, you are in the country right ?
