The c clip moves fine. It's the the pedal body now rubbing on the metal protector plate. It will clearly rub as the plastic 3 plate adaptor has grooves in it from where the pedal body rubs it. Does your pedal wear the 3 screw adaptor plate?
Yeah, with teflon. Spread it on the metal plate.
The pedal body should be fixed - it shouldn't move on the thin metal plate underneath.
I have dents in my thin metal plate.
Lubing the plate did the trick. But now they're super dirt magents! Do like speedplay though. Best pedal out there.
