Every time I watch the Youtube vids, there's the theory of "look how easy it is", somebody just loosens it. Practice is me having to pull out all the tricks to loosen parts.
Such as: Putting books under one cone spanner, cos holding it hurts, then putting the wheel in the corner and going max force with the wrench.
Just wondering if it's the forearm strength/weight difference (mass helps with generating torque) or whether everybody has that problem and the videos are just for ideal situations :)
ha, i wish i could cite weight difference being the reason i sometimes ask the mechanic at my lbs to mega tighten up track nuts or bolts for me to be ultra safe but we're about the same size. i think he's just more hench and has a lot of practice of doing it!
