  • Can also attest to the macbook, i got the MBP 2011 15" and it still runs good with the photoshop suite etc

  • Bit of a long shot but this was nicked from Cambridge yesterday, there's a chance that it, or maybe bits of it, could turn up in Norwich so keep your keepers peeled. It kind of sounds like it was nicked to order.

  • ^ will keep an eye

Anyone have first hand experience with sanding down and refinishing carbon? I know I could bring it somewhere but I'd rather have a crack at it myself

  • ah man thats my old wheel! Sucks that it was stolen. Going to be hard to shift/ride that around without getting spotted.

  • I hope you all managed/manage to get out on your bikes today, bloody lovely weather!

  • alas, no

  • nope. running. I think I might be a runner.

  • Guess someone has to be

  • It's not for me thats for sure!

@Rikki how are the Levi Commuters treating you?

  • Yeah not bad, very comfortable to ride in as well as most other things, I've ended up wearing them a lot more than I thought I would; the only gripe I have is that the side pocket hangs a little too low with a phone/wallet in and rubs on the side of my knee, nothing stitching it a bit higher up wouldn't solve I just haven't got round to it

  • Good to hear, considering getting a pair. Just patched up my regular trousers so i can continue to use them!

  • I'd definitely recommend them!

  • I have two pairs, big fan. The gusseting really helped with crotch wear, though I still managed to put tears in both pairs from climbing stairs two at a time. Getting them repaired

  • Haha cheers! Where are you getting them repaired also, i've a pair of Levi's i want tapering more, i don't trust myself with brand new expensive clothes!

  • I gave them to @12ounce to sort, as he's also making me a bag. Not sure where you'd stand on alterations, I've used the place down the street from Lush for a jacket but never for jeans, despite enjoying the Great British Sewing Bee I'm pretty ignorant about such matters

  • I've used this place for putting a new lining in a jacket before and they were good.

  • Thanks folks, need to get my hands on a sewing machine also! If anyone has one that does a zig zag and straight line stitch hit me up!

  • I think perhaps you can pay to use the ones at make place on magdalen street - not sure if anglia fashion fabrics do alterations too.

  • My uni has a load but I want one for clothing alterations at home! Cheers though!

  • If you happen to be a 32" waist I have some 3/4 Levis commuter shorts/trousers that I'm selling. Never worn apart from trying on.

  • I don't! Cheers though!

  • I'm not sure I've ever been a 32" waist! hahaha!

  • Tempted, not long before I'm a 32. How much?

  • Just for those who knew him, I thought I would let people know that we lost Dom Scott (@dogtoucherdom) a couple of days ago. As an original Norwich rider from here I thought Id just say my heart goes out to his family, and gonna arrange a broads ride in his honour in August when the dust has settled. Much love x

  • Broads ride sounds good, I'm sure Sam and Brother Dom will be into it.
Hope you're holding up ok. xxx
