Indeed, that is my slight quandry, it seems a bit pointless, especially for the 30s , but I would quite like a new pair of wheels and they are hard to choose

you're lugging around a brake sidewall, more weight etc.
Do you think they would actually cut any material if they thought you weren't going to rub the sides with bits of rubber?
