It does look good...and I know it will be quality!
Any soft 'revelate' style rear bags on the horizon? I've just realised that I asked you that on the other thread but haven't checked there for an answer.
Where can I see any images of the rando bag too please? :0) -

Ah thanks guys. Heres a couple photos of the full size rando.
This one doesn't have pockets on the back, but it usually would do.

Bar bag is brilliant. It's a test of your packing ability but I've managed to pack a weekend's worth of essentials in there comfortably.
Rando large is also tempting.. but let's not go there just yet.
Keep up the good work Jordan!

Looks great - would love one in Orange with reflective tab/ panel on the front - any thoughts about mounting a front light?
I use a Klickfix Vario rack plus dribag at the moment and have had to make up a handlbar diameter sixed mount at the bottom of the rack to attach a front light to - not sure how i could repeat the trick with this?
Also would you sell a strap/ handle for when it's not on the bike?

Loving the rando bag. Will put in an order for one soon!

I mount my light on the fork, its the easiest solution for this scenario, that or wider on the bars. You can also get an adapter for the klickfix mount which puts a bar above the mount in the centre as far as i remember.
I can do one in orange with a reflective tab if needs be, I can also pop a light loop on the front too, message me if you're keen.
The removable strap comes with the bag!

I'm getting a load of interest in the rando bags now the summer is coming around, just to reitorate, I can do and have done a tonne of full size randos, as well as the little klickfix ones you see here.
ALso got a bunch of colours and combinations too.
Thanks!

Will this mechanism work on 26mm bars? Thanks
-
• #14
Yes, the adapter from chain reaction comes that size as stock!

Thanks a lot

If these are half as good as your messenger bags they will be epic. If you need a rando bag I expect these will be a good bet.

Could you post a link to the Kickflix bracket this fits into?
Sorry, I'm a bit of noob with the bike packing stuff. -

This one here, if you have oversize handlebars they also sell the adapters!
No probs!

How many litres is the smaller Rando bag? Great work, by the way. Nice to see quality gear made in the uk.
-

Not sure of exact litreage as its quite hard to work out, but its got a front pocket and measures 26x16x16cm internally. For day to day stuff, its great for a lock, small jacket and your pocket dump. For a touring setup, its pretty much just a mini command centre for your navigating bits and on-bike food.
-
• #21
That's just over 6.5 litres internally then.
-
• #22
calculating the volume of solid in that sense is easy yeah, but to actually gauge litreage for a technically non cuboid shape like a bag you have to use a calibrated machine.. but i guess as these are fairly boxy those numbers work fine

fill it with beans

Thanks for Kickflix guidance. SJS sell a model with oversize mounts included as a default, so seems like slightly better value than the Chainreaction option above:

Sent you a PM with some questions about rando bag.
Hey guys,
Me again, I just released a Klickfix bar bag that alot of you will have seen already.
It's pretty simple, It's basically a mini rando bag that fits on your handlebars (via a klickfix mount) instead of a rack.
From my site:
**Opening out from the rider, it provides an easy to access platform for your small essentials. Measuring in at 26cm w x 16cm d x 16cm h it's the ideal compromise for size for a handlebar mounted bag.
It has one main compartment, a closed pocket on the front, open pockets on the side (ideal for wrappers or keys) and a clear flap on top for a GPS device or map.
As always, the bag has been designed with weatherproofness at the front of our mind, this is reflected in the non traditional style of closure on the bag. Due to this, it also doubles as a handy basket style bag when you're caught with too much to carry home from the supermarket.
Constructed of a top of specification 1000d PU Nylon outer and lined with a top quality 4oz PU Nylon liner. A HDPE sheet keeps the bag nice and boxy for ease of access. **
As I say on the site, it comes with the frame but not the Klickfix adapter itself. These are super duper readily available everywhere.
Its 65 + Post, can do a bunch of colours if people fancy it, Black is of course available.
Available here: http://www.bigxtop.com/products/rando-bar-bag
Also as some of you may have noticed, I've been making rando bags too, I'll be releasing these soon too.. however don't be a stranger if you'd like a full size rando bag sooner.
Thanks guys, here are some photos
