  • I turns out I didn't have the stamina (funds) available to pick up the various parts needed to build up this sweet frame.
I bought it from here just under a year ago from Jules but sadly I'm now having to let it go.

    Holdsworth Professional 1981 frame 60cm.
    White with gold lug lining
    Paint and decals all original
A few marks and scuffs from general use on the paintwork but decals all good
No dents, rust or other issues

    Including original forks
    Including Campagnolo headset

£150 for the frame based in SE11

    PM me with interest

  • Hey Tyrone- yes, can post UK easily

And User53723- I will check the c-c on top tube tonight

  • Sorry everybody, I think I might have got the description wrong- here is an illustration of the frame with dims.
Does this mean it is a 57cm frame?

  • Frame is 60cm or 23 1/2 " in old money :)

    Nice too, tempted myself.

    Shaun

  • Hi- so is it 58 or 59 from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube (the way we measure over here). If you can draw such a fancy diagram you should be able to measure center to center-cheers.

  • Im up for this if its still going

  • Centre to centre about 58.4 cm assuming 531 has a diameter of one inch and the 73 degree angle of the frame doesn't make that much difference.

Where are you that measures 30 odd year old frames centre to centre?

    Shaun

  • Ok guys,

User 53723- it is 59cm from centre of bottom bracket to centre of top tube. You still have it on dibs, pm me if still interested.

Swede- let me know if still keen

Shawn- I might have to get the protractor out and see if you are spot on!

  • Canada- in North America- we give both all c to c and center to top- the top of the top tube on vintage bikes can be curved etc which can through off measurements

  • Hi I have the first dibs on the bike. How much to ship to canada? cheers

  • I'll pass since you are not getting back to me and not replying to pms. Maybe you went away for a few days with the royal family or something.

  • Ah...Canadian humour, right?

  • I should have guessed that he didn't reply for the last 3 days because he was chosen to be the new James Bond.

  • I would love to post it to you just to keep up this dialogue Maple Leaf but would prefer a collection or postage within the UK to keep it simple.

  • Dibs off, still up for grabs

  • I figured that's why you didn't answer for 3 or more days. You could have just told me.

  • Sorry dude, I thought my page was refreshing when I checked it on my phone but took me a few days to realise it wasn't!

  • no problem - I guessed it would have been a mistake to deal with you anyway- you never did reply to any of my pms.

  • im still interested

  • Great swede, where are you based? Want to come check it out?

  • Im in kent if you can post im in
