Often agents will prioirtise a buyer who is going through the agent's mortgage broker, because the company then doubles up on commission.
But they shouldn't.They aren't usually the most clued up advisors, and it is less likely that they will hunt out the lender best aligned to your needs and circumstances and more likely that they will have you sign for the lender who pays them the biggest wedge.
