  • For veg/vegan food that hasn't been covered yet.

Near Kings Cross, the Mary Ward centre cafe and the hot food counter at planet organic on torrington place are good for quicker eats. Most of the well established restaurants, generally soho/covent garden way, can be found easily with the power of google or vegetarian guides London (actual guide costs but the updates list is free and has more stuff than most could fit into a visit anyway: http://www.vegetarianguides.co.uk/updates/VegetarianLondon2008.shtml).

Near Herne Hill/Brixton if you're playing polo that way:
Guyana roti lady was the best, but I don't know where she is at these days (maybe still on station rd?).
Post office bakery (http://oldpostofficebakery.co.uk/) does an amazing vegan sausage roll.
Vegbar (http://www.vegbar.co.uk/) has just opened and looked good when I went past it.
    Negril (http://negrilonline.co.uk/) is alright.

  • The amazing roti lady is gone we dont know where :( in Hernie hill also sesami haz really nice veggie food

  • Add me on Facebook if you do that sort of thing.
