Do tandems require extra strong headsets?
Or to be more exact, is there a headset out there rated to take about 30 stone of riders?
They've always made do with solo bike components. If you use an old-school headset, you can squeeze a bit more load bearing capacity out of it by binning the ball retainer and running full-complement loose balls.
