New Kenda Warthog 40c tyres for the CdF next year...
-
• #9255
Nice. Got the 2015 frameset, more than pleased that Nano 40c fit in the frame, with enough room for some mud.
-
• #9256
They look good....folding option?
-
• #9257
Is that why you see more Brooks saddles with the nose up higher than normal?
Yes, usually to stop you from sliding forward and provide more support on the sitbones.

Yep think they'll offer a 60 tpi folder and a 120tpi folding tubeless-ready

Kenda Warthog 40c
Waaaa i wish my older Croix would fit 40c :(

I never got around to snapping a photo of my fully built Straggler, with mudguards, rack, etc.. It's been about 6 months I think!
Here's a quick one from this afternoon I thought I'd share.
In case anyone's interested, those Ortleib City panniers are fantastic things for the money and fit that Soma rack perfectly.

can the elephant NFE with full fender take 650b x42 and the new 26" x55 rat trappass tires under the same fenders? the clasicc way to make a rando 650bx42 bike more off road capable its taking the fenders out (a pita... with the light cable running under them and rack atached...) and put some 650bx 2.0 or 2.1....
maybe a disc rando 650b bike can be setup with fat 26" just swapping wheels, or im losing something...

• #9266
Yup, as this stock example show with 650b MTB tyres;

Shifting is much confusing, any wisdom behind it or shall I just go ahead and rage?
-
• #9268
Think of it as a road version of the thumb shifter on mountain bike, not as quick and rapid as those "rapidfire" shifter, but very effective and reliable.
-
• #9269
Didn't know that you were a piano man
-
• #9270
i mean NFE whit 60mm fenders and to set of wheels one 650bx42 (road wheels) and the second with 26"wheels 2.3. this way you donĀ“t need to take the fenders out
-
• #9271
and mega expensive for what it actually is
-
• #9272
2.3 might work, not sure about the front as the width stay the same the further you go down the fork.

Thats a new one, i've got the old one, it can manage 32c + mudguards so i dont think 40c would work at all

What do you mean by an adult size? They all have comparatively short head tubes making them look quite small. The sizes do run on the large side too. My Straggler is a 52cm, yet has the same reach as my 54cm 'dale and my 56cm Cervelo. If you want pics of large sizes, there are lots on the Straggler thread on MTBR: http://forums.mtbr.com/surly/surly-straggler-867094.html
Was off work today and saw this as I was cycling home. Loved the spokey-dokeys but excessive on the horns perhaps.
