@Thuekr - I bought the toroidal clincher rims, built up with Novatec SL hubs and cx Rays. They seem to work fine! Bike shop confirms they are true, built up to about 1500g.
Difficult to say how they compare with other carbon wheels, but they cost about £400 total so good value. Shall see how they hold up.
