Yeah did think about going 48t on the front.

Some cassette have yet to be released, like the SRAM 11-30.
Whatever chainring you're riding on, get a smaller one to spread the range (and to actually use the 11t cog).
edit: if you're ridin on 50t, then a 48t may be idea.
