Do you mind me asking about the rough cost? I'm currently looking into custom racks and i'd prefer to use a european maker

Not more than £80-100. Stainless, full custom. He already did a couple of different designs. Supercool to deal with.

I'm looking for short reach 36 or 38 wide bullhorns with short reach...any cheap and cheerful suggestions?
E-bay not that helpful, they're all wider. Colour not massively important white or silver both fine.

rescued from a skip on Thursday this bike:http://imgur.com/a/M3kBZ
It was in a very sorry state, seised seatpost and stem, stuck pedal, gritty bearings, gummy grease everywhere clogging shit up.
Took the weekend and a raid of the parts bin to get to this yesterday http://imgur.com/a/jK5RQVery pleased! and she rides well, if a bit low on gear range.

These are mine, he built both the fork and the rack. As you said, a pleasure to deal with.

Since you're going for the whole nine yard, why not get a custom low trail fork on top?
Right now, your fork is more of a mid-trail than a low-trail.

I'm happy with my current fork tbh it's a happy medium between loaded and unloaded handling.

@JWestland @saarf cheers guys. Turns out its a TDF stage winner, coming third overall in the 81 race with Hinaut as that years tour winner.
Its Columbus SL Tubing, featuring a cinelli bb shell. I've never owned such nice steel, let alone pull any out of a friggin bin! It might even eventually become preferred steed, if i can get a reasonable gear range for climbing on it.needs; white turbo saddle and bar tape (to get it closer to the stock bike), original suntour rear mech (or both fd and rd changed to be contemporary with the rest of the 'upgrades'), beige brake cable housing and a nicer chain thats not from wilko's.
For now ill just take it out on the flat, when its not too windy. Or STFU/HTFU.
I'm pretty stoked about it actually.

Simplex Retrofriction <3
Super nice, maybe just a bit of nail varnish remover to take off those FSA logos?
