Happy to be corrected, but I don't think CK will warranty their headsets unless they've been installed by a qualified mechanic. If you've paid near RRP it seems like a false economy not to have it properly installed.

I bought the Chris King 2nut off the forum so no warranty in any case.
Had a look at the BB shell last night and the mating surfaces dont look great; much chipped off lacquer, so little flat.
Ok, I'll stop being a tight arse and actually pay for BB facing and headset install. Anyone recommend a shop near E15?

Ah, ok thanks. I'll stick with the sram crankset.
I'm planning to take the frameset to skinny eric's and have the alignment checked and BB faced before starting the build. Any thoughts on paying the extra for ceramic?
