The Wiggo speculation is guff, that's the right word for it. Even if he was on stunning form (he's not), had a team totally focused on getting him there (he doesn't) or had the luck of the gods on his side (no sign of it if he does) the whole point of P-R is that it's so unpredictable. Get in the wrong place at the Arenberg, have a crash happen too near you, get a puncture at the wrong moment, hell, hit a cobble at the wrong angle and that's it, game over, you're screwed. It is so hard to predict and it therefore is so hard to target , which is why nobody really bothers, right?
I wouldn't bet against any of those named above but I'd risk a flutter on Wiggins not being on the podium today.
