  • I like it like that.

  • Maybe a perlon strap would look nice:

  • It was seeing that a few pages back prompted me to ask. Where can you get a quality one from? I'm not sure how convinced I am.

  • I think it's lovely as it is... Leave it!

  • I wouldn't really say there are many "quality" ones about as they're pretty cheap to manufacture.

I have a few from WatchObsession who I would always recommend: http://www.watchobsession.co.uk/collections/perlon-watch-straps

Vintage Eulit straps are about as fancy as they get and you can buy them on eBay...

  • Thanks @>>>>>> the original strap worries me as it's so stretched it's probably weakened.

  • What happened to this place? Everyone seems to be bustin' out Rolexes all of a sudden.
@dst, I really like that. Get an original strap from them. The bezel looks great.

  • But Rolex starp = £€¥$!!!

  • Anyone know of a shop (in London) who'd open up an automatic / diagnose a "it's not winding" issue for cheap / free? It's not an expensive watch so don't want to throw more money at it unnecessarily, but would be nice to fix it if possible

  • Next level, MBP and sushi... Like a boss...

  • Yup. We need to up our game...!

  • Funnily enough I would never have considered buying a rolex before I was given this but I love it. My great uncle got it in Singapore when he was in the RAF, gave it to my dad a couple of years after who wore it for 30 years and then let it fall into disrepair. He wasn't going to get it repaired so handed it to me. I got it fixed up which brought a tear to his eye.

A new Rolex bracelet is a bit pricey at £1200 ish. I might go after market for the links and put the original clasp back on it.

  • I have a cheap aftermarket bracelet that I don't trust and a shark mesh that I do trust but don't like.

  • Shark mesh only looks good on a Junghans.

  • Worked that one out after wearing it for a month.

  • Señor_Bear

    Looks tiny. Very girly.>

...just how you like your denim?

    #ooof #sckbrn etc...

  • Too true re the shark mesh.

  • The game is well and truly upped in here...

  • Someone to post their Patek in 3, 2, 1...

  • i have managed to get a new job before i spent all my redundancy money, so am going to treat myself to a new watch or 2.
going to get a Casio G Shock GW4000 and something dressier.

I quite like the Tag Heuer Carrera in its 1887 calibre flavour

but its well out of my budget. Ideally i want to spend about £1000-1200 on something like that.
Any suggestions? (other than save more money)
