I eat the whole lot cold straight out of the tin, skin, bones and all. Plenty of omega 3 but also a reasonably cost effective food at 40p for 20g of protein.

So actually I love Sardines and Mackeral and eat Sushi so I guess I get a reasonable quantity. There is an odd chap that sits next to me though who hates fish but runs, so imagine I am asking for him.

^^ Thanks both. I wasn't sure what particulate size was the one to worry about. I see some that do stop below PM2.5 so I might go for those if I can find em.

Should a fat bastard be worried about using disc brakes rather than calipers?
It seems to me that disc brakes would exert a torque on the wheel axle that caliper brakes would not.

Compared to your fat arse bouncing up and down on it, it's not that much.
Axles are massively over engineered, forks tend to get bent before the axle...

But if you are already breathing heavily because of exercise, could the restriction then have an effect?
Wouldn't a better reaction to bad air to go a bit earlier and avoid major roads, poodle on back roads, keeping your breathing normal and staying away from large vehicles?

Can anyone do better than me at finding a black replacement spoke for a Shimano WH-RS30 rear wheel? It's NDS but apparently that doesn't matter.
So far I have £3 +£8 delivery from Rose Bikes, or £9 shipped off EBay.
There must be a better option?

I have acquired an old Dawes 5 speed tourer frame but can't make out the model name on the crossbar. It is a maroon/burgundy with green rings on the seat tube and chrome head tube lugs. The name might end in 'ie' but I can't seem to find a list of Dawes model names anywhere.

M part expander bung will do the job.

Can you find a Shimano dealer near to you? Apex Cycles sorted me out for a straight pull Shimano spoke for an RS80, but not exactly local to you.
(Also, mostly recounted for lolz, I also contacted Edwardes Cycles who were also listed as a Shimano dealer, and was told that they didn't have them in stock, but usually they would just bend a J-bend spoke straight in this instance!!! #CSB) -
