Can we add the chain to the list of woes.

the navy blue hubs are wretched -

I didn't even notice them but they are horrible.
Right idea, poor execution.

What's everyone's problem with that? I glue my tubs that side and not once have I had a problem on a track. I'm calling bullshit.

• #92436
Where are those gear cables going, in the tubes?
-
• #92437
Probably designed to be used with tt dt shifters
-
• #92438
they are just in an aero position and cables run down in the normal way
as below

Ahh yus, of course. Figured it must be custom
Nice Gazelle

Are those regular cs or evo cs?
My experience is limited on the cs, and as suggested by the trainer I had to swap them around as at low speed they were really slippery right when the print touches the wood on the banking.

@Breso I was wondering that too, I haven't glued mine yet. Was looking at the thread pattern and was questioning which way to mount. I've seen loads of bikes where the Vittoria is on the drive side but after viewing the thread I was questioning which way to mount. The threads on the outside are going ahead while the next inner layer is pointing backwards and then the middle is lines. Surely the threads on the outside should run backward in order to help grip whilst cornering! I'm running Vittoria Corsa SC.
@TheSadR Gitane is exquisite!

Tread on road/track tubulars is purely decorative

Pretty much what tester said about the tread, but the branding issue on tubulars is noticeable only on steep track bankings, where the the slick and not grippy printed stripe can result in loss of grip at low speed...
But usually on road bikes Vittoria branding goes on the drive side. -

Colour coded stems really needs to be over, so wank
-
• #92447
Steep track + low speed = doing it wrong
Unless you're a sprinter doing a track stand, and even then if you're on the sidewalls, you're doing it wrong.

Sometimes you know, happen that you can't really go faster when you need to stay behind a line of rider that decided to keep that pace in a effort-rest exercise. :)
