I purchased a Cinelli grammo in the 90's, very light as said, i liked it even if it was a grey one.
I had Cinelli Eubois Diet anotomic bars in it..You might find you're limited to 26.4mm dia. Cinelli bars for those stems.

afaik, there were 26.0 versions.
tech answer for your question: http://sheldonbrown.com/rinard/stemtesting.htm
if that's an 80's bike you are upgrading, i'd say forget the grammo. i love the stem, but it needs a newer frame.

Yup, there were 26.0 versions. I use one with deda piega bars.

@via_condotti how much did you pay for those bars? think I want to switch to Ergo...

The few I've seen came with aluminum clamp bolts. If you're thinking of getting a Grammo, I'd replace that with a stainless one slathered in anti-sieze.

why don't you go for a cinelli top ergo 66? it would suit an 80's frame better (no angle) but the top part lets you position brake levers as you would on ergo bars

£35 I think, from classifieds.

Hi everyone I have a few parts im letting go.
Ibis 26.0mm 100mm
cinelli gramo 100mm
prima 220 handlebar
I'm in the process of upgrading my 80's Colnago and looking for a good lightweight stem / bar combo. (Nothing super modern) I usually do long distance rides on a weekend 80-100 miles so looking for something appropriate for that I guess.
I'm looking at a Cinelli Grammo, looks amazing for sure but are they worth the price? Also, anyone got recommendations on a set of bars to match?
