Damn it, didn't get to 1000 suffer score. Had to cut ride short to get back for work. Tough route.

Good effort though, certainly taking the path(s) less travelled. Very jealous.

I remember one Audax missing the turn for Penmachno and doing a few km further down towards Ffestiniog before realising and having to turn back (and up), utterly gorgeous that whole area.

I need more Wales in my life.

Oh yes, lots of bridleways, lots of hike-a-bike, but the most amazing views. There was a 2 hour push up Pont Scethin (north of Barmouth), that was totally worth it. I'll get the pics up soon.
