  • #openpave4lyfe.

stick latex tube and you'll be right as rain, or get the 27mm, and enjoy the amazing comfort at high pressure.

Speaking of tyres, I have test the Clement Strada LGG 60tpi for a while now, it's an improvement over the Panaracer Pasela for those who want a tough and reasonably light road tyres with gumwall.

However, it's stiff, I ran them at a lower pressure than I usually would (70psi rear, 60psi front), it grip well, and seem to held up against the usual abuse.

Sticking to 25mm Open Pave as they felt much more comfortable even at a higher pressure due to the supple nature.

  • Can't do latex for transcontinental. And wondered if tubeless would be a better option for reliability.

  • That I'm afraid is entirely up to you.

Steven seemed to be getting on well with the tubeless wheel during the 1YTT and can see the appeal, they exist in 28mm which help.

I like the idea that the tubeless tyres can block puncture while riding, rather than having to get off and patch the inner tube.

    Actually go for it.
