Exactly what I'll be building the Cindercone as.
I had my 69er Fireeye at the bmx track last week but it wasn't ideal, under geared, big front wheel was a bit of a handful etc.
Plus, we are trying to get a fun wee dual slalom race series on the go up here this summer and as I have no chance competing seriously I'll use the Kona as a bit of a klunker.
Cheers, the long seatpost makes it look like it would tear up the singletrack but in reality, with that setup, it climbs like shite and really only works once it's pointed downhill.
I think the new setup will be: geared for bmx track and descents, single rear brake, short seatpost, forks with more tyre clearance and no brake mounts and bigger front tyre.
