Read reviews of those Scoble suggested, seem to tick all boxes, will soon find out.
I had a lot of faith in gp4000s till I double punctured, due to nature of this bike looking for a bit more peace of mind.

Just been out on my 35mm Paselas and cannot rate them high enough...esp at only £25 each?! Plus they look boss against my skinny tubes.

any opinion between the new rawland ravn vs the elephant NFE ? the ravn its really diggin in my head....... other problem its what to do with my actual rando bike a soma GR, i think will be slower than the ravn on asphalt due to the stiffer frame..... maybe transform to a porteur urban bike...

Always liked Pasela's but they sure punctured a lot compared to hardshells.

Loved my 32c Paselas, currently trying out 35c Rando pros, they were cheap, £25 the pair! They roll well, no problems so far.

Touch wood - I've had 3 with the Pasela's and 1 with gators. Thats in about 5 years of side by side use

Elephant NFE is a big step up from the Soma GR (latter is mass produced), especially with disc brake, 1 1/8 etc.
If you want a bike to replace your Soma, the NFE is it, if you want something different, go for the Rawland.

I've never had a puncture with my Pasela's. I've been using them for over a year.
