Looked banging.
Did you just not use it in that format?
Are those forks the originals?
-
• #100756
Yeah, was great to ride but the paint started to pick up some chips from locking - it's sorta in good original condition so I felt a bit bad leaving on the street occasionally! Basically, I have 3 bikes already and this is sadly unused.
The forks aren't the originals. some cheap tange 1" threadless chrome ones. The carbon forks that came with it have a ridiculously short steerer and the bottom crown race never sat straight on them. May investigate a way to fix this though.

Well I need a setback post...InternetBaikFit, but once I put my saddles back i felt more balanced so it seems to be right ;)
As for orange, well, I tried to match with orange bar tape and it went hilariously wrong. I may have some orange valve caps somewhere though! :)

On those aero/tt pista/roadies,with the aero/almost v like seat tube ,would the size of seat post be uniform?
-
• #100760
Possibly one of my most nonsensical posts,am in negotiations regarding frame, will see how pans out then post pic for lucidity
-
• #100761
Eh? Seat post sizing is usually determined by tubing...if it's a good make of steel not made in France, 27.2 is to be expected. Do you know tubing? :)

Think I'll mothball it for now.Well will you look at that, I've now realised I can build this up like that with spare part lying around, and lock it outside too.

Salute
did have risers for a month or two - could never get a magic gear to work though. Felt guilty every time I locked it up or found a new paint chip. Hence the conundrum!
