Quite amazed how good D3 is now, hadn't played since a couple months after it came out but i've been smashing it the last few days.

I ordered the beginner learn-how-to-play 2 person Magic The Gathering card game off of ebay. I have never played before but thought it might be fun. I am, by the way, 38 and it is my wife who i am going to play against. It is my plan to get her involved so then I don't have to look into her judging eyes.

Kinda, yeah. Seems to be more RPGness to it, essentially I've spent about 24 hours mining pixels.

Never saw the appeal of Magic The Gathering. It seems to attract the types who say things like "hail and well met! a flagon of your finest ale, pray, barkeep" and wear 'amusing' Tolkien t shirts (viz: Keep Mordor Tidy).

My wife used to play it with her ex, which might go some way to explaining my prejudice. Because of that I'm sure I have a shoebox full of cards, some of which are apparently rare and valuable. If I find it, any idea where I can dispose of them for a decent price as a job lot?

eBay. I believe there is an easy way to find out which cards are rare, find these and Google them, then eBay.

Right!?!? I bought just at the right time clearly. And the Animal Crossing DLC is coming at the same time, both on April 23rd.

How are you getting on with it? Takes a while to get the hang of but it's awesome once you get your skill level up...

I still have no idea how some of the people I've played online get around the tracks as quickly as they do... I'm no slouch but these kids are incredible...

Getting there. Still haven't completely firmed up my favourite choice of character/vehicle (Currently: Waluigi/Flame Bike/Sponge Tyres).

Just started 150cc, and got gold with one star first time. Need to work out the shortcuts. Have ordered two more controllers online, four player awaits.

It's still the best game ever. I played it nine hours straight with some friends on Friday, never got bored.

Anyone been playing Insurgency (PC)? It's a FPS, closer to CS:GO than COD. Can be brutal as it is a quick time to kill, hardcore style game. Can be picked up for about £5, well worth a punt.
