So picked up the bike and rode it straight in to work to avoid having to explain myself to the girlfriend... It's had a pretty shitty black rattle can spray job over the yellow lugs...

I've been thinking about a respray, but not after I've built it up and ridden it for a while... It will either go yellow or something toward the credit agricole colour scheme or bmw mini 'pepper white' a la -

I've been riding 10speed sram on my other bike and love it so found a beater pair of force shifters, a rival cassette and rear mech and some Planet X brakes on the cheap...

I was thinking of using my best wheels ^the Reynolds attack but need to save some cash so will be looking to sell them on, along with a Lynskey titanium frame and a gazelle AA super Lo-pro... Sad times... I found some beater bontrager wheels in my housemates cave/parts den which will fit the bill and keep the total invested cash to a minimum so I can enjoy the bike as my pub/commuter bike and not worry too much about locking it up around town...

A pub/commuter with White bar tape? Bold. But I like it.

Wow those Reynolds attack wheels look sweet on there though.

@cheekysnaker ha, yeah cheers! I'm probably doing the London Classic on this so felt it needed white tape (and it was spare in the parts bin from some crashed bars...)
@penguinspring yeah the Reynolds are great and did look good but I don't have any carbon pads and can't be bothered to shell out £40 on some swisstop when in reality the wheels are a little indulgent for the type of riding this bike will be used for...
