CRC. It's good and I'll probably buy another. They're cut slim/long-limbed.

The pockets aren't very deep or tight. Useless for a bottle.

A lot of chat about jerseys, but has anyone got any recommendations for 'stylish' bib shorts? I need a pair to have in rotation with my Rapha classics, and would quite like something with a bit more about them.

...I do bloody love the pad in the Raphas though.

I find my Sugois comfy, and they were cheap. Sportful Grupettos are meant to be the best cheapish ones though I think. Haven't got a pair of Rapha to compare to unfortunately, so can't comment.

Assos bib shorts. Get some FI 13 ones in white if you're feeling fruity.

Another vote for white for the one-five. Buy the right ones and others can hopefully make out the rim of your bell.

Rules or no rules, non-black bibs generally look shit. Just like coloured tyres and 'wacky' bar tape. If you want something less dull go for a bib with some sort of accent colour somewhere.

I'm not sure what part of my post suggested I was looking for non black bibs. I'm expecting them to be black, just with a bit more detailing would be nice. Indeed, the idea of white bib shorts in the rain, is repulsive.

I have plain black ones that I rate highly and are good as new after well over 10k miles.

I was going to suggest the Rapha CX bibs, but a quick look on their site doesn't seem to bring them up. I have a pair of the old ones and they had a nice blue, pink, somwthing else, detailing on the lower section. The pads the same as the others but the material is a bit thinner I think.

The pro team ones have an accent colour on the bottom I think.

I own some nicely shouty fluro orange bibs.
