  • ^Pretty sure that was on ebay along with a Condor Pista. The seller due to reknowned condor paint chipping had both bikes, frames essentially, resprayed and new decals put on.

  • What made you think it was stolen?

  • Did he assail anyone?

  • Not from my knowledge or witnessing it, but I can't say how the young man got hold of the bike in question. Iv removed the thread post as iv realised thieves check this thread as much as victims, it could tip him off, but I'm certain this will be resolved.

  • Details about this have been moved.

    Cheers @Jordon

  • Need to ask Condor:)

  • Usually it is
Sellers strip the bike and put random parts on it

  • I dont know much about respraying and decals, but their sales pitch was that is awessome steel bike with slx tubes. Was hoping any condor fan will jump in this thread and explain what is what.

House in hackney got burgled 21/2/15 and the thieves took of with my bike. If anyone sees it kicking around please let me know, looks the same as in the picture just with a black brooks saddle and black bar tape. Alternatively if anyone has something on the cheaper side for sale please drop me a message.
    Cheers

  • anyone lost a black felt with front trispoke, gumwall tyres and front brake? spotted in peckham, guy with dreads riding it in hoody seems odd but i could be wrong

  • hi, my friend's bike got stolen last Monday in South London (his second stolen bike).

if anyone sees it please tell me whereabouts and who was riding. thank you.

It is Planet X bike in black colour. Deep carbon rims, MIC crank arms with Factory5 chainring. Alloy drop bars without bar tape.

  • Shed and garage thefts are currently rife in E4. Mine was done today.

If you see an extremely rough orange/red fluoro stickered up Falcon single speed, with risers, 'guards and rack, Miche crankset ,SPDs, then please let me know.

It is a POS. But it was mine, doing over 100 week in week out.
Here's a shot from happier times in Holland.

  • Saw someone at Clapham Common yesterday on a black-lo pro with a 50mm Crabon front, with a full crab Zipp on the back. Rider had baseball cap and non-roadie trainers, I think, without foot straps. Tried to get a closer look, but he went in different direction. I could be wrong, he could be on here, but just in case...

  • @AE86 Seen this bike a couple of times recently. Both times being ridden by a different guy, both didn't seem to know how to ride fixed (wobbly, no foot retention). Doesn't seem quite right.
Again...Black Felt, front trispoke, Rye Lane area of Peckham.

  • Had my bike stolen from my house in Clapton area. Probably first time I ever left a bike unlocked, but it was just outside my flat on top floor of 3 story building.

    Anyway, details:
Red mountain bike On One Inbred with white Fox suspension forks, very distinctive pink Turbo saddle (very worn with red tape and bit missing on front - best part of bike!) and Freedom Thickslick tyres.

  • Maybe to late but I'll keep an eye out as some of the local spa green youths are bike cleptomanics and not very criminal minded

  • guys i saw this one before somewhere here ,but i couldnt find , it has been posted less than hour ago.... http://www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/single-speed-fixie-road-bike/1108465227

  • @user53869 this is yours I believe? can we not get the police to call this guy and just arrest him?

or, failing that, can a few of us just form a vigilante squad and go round to 'buy it' and give him a bit of a shoeing?

  • i just sent him an email about this as i'm (let's say) interested ,but i found in London Bike Beer Group original post from owner so i sent him a message too, still pending for the reply from the add.

  • Several attempts to 'buy this back' have been conducted. The so called thief in question may not even reply to you. I was lucky enough to contact him, get his phone number and sweet talk him on whatsapp. Arranged with Stefan (person who's bike it is) that I would meet this person and buy the bike back, the police were aware of the situation. The seller was fine, communicating with me, I asked how long they would be, they said 5 minutes, blablabla. They never showed, kept me waiting for an hour. Its always the same location that they send people to meet, they probably live across the road and are watching you look like a hopeless fool trying to get the bike back.

  • so maybe if we are dealing with him and we know the situation that they probably looking/spying on buyer ,we need to come with someone let's call this '' someone who looks like dont have any clue what they are buying and etc..'' it should work somehow as it has been relisted today again.

  • I went on my own, and looked pretty clueless, asking the seller if they knew how to lower/raise the saddle as I had no idea. Just really Upsetting for Stefan as this person is absolutely taking the piss. All I can do is wish you the best of luck! Would really like to see Stefan back on his bike ASAP!

  • Seller Is also selling this if anyone recognises it:

I suspect they have various stolen bikes, so if or when the police finally arrest this person, smiles all around :P
